I'm a fresh grad student at the University of Chicago. I'm interested in complex systems, which compose of simple blocks but collectively create incredibly interesting phenomenon. These complex systems exist in nature for example a group of ants, a cluster of neurons, or a colony of bacteria. The interesting behavior in those systems can include how do ants collectively carry food, how do neurons form memory, and how do bacteria expand their territory?
